Our Senior Analyst, External Reporting will play a critical role focused on building high quality, impactful financial statements & reporting packages, innovate processes to meet the needs of the business, and play a significant role in Rollins path towards implementation of new financial systems.

Responsibilities
You Will...
- Prepare consolidated financial reporting packages (income statement) and financial statements (balance sheet, cash flow, equity) to support both internal reporting to executives and SEC reporting
- Support the preparation SEC and external reporting materials including 10-Qs, 10-Ks, earnings releases, and other investor materials
- Improve and streamline the existing consolidation process to enhance efficiency and accuracy, by optimizing data collection and validation procedures
- Support the use of data analytics on financial results using data analytics and visualization tools to provide insights to support the business, our reporting, and internal controls
- Support the integration and reporting for acquisitions and other unique transactions
- Assist with accounting research and the preparation of quarterly technical accounting memos, as necessary
- Take initiative for process improvements to scale and optimize the financial reporting process
- Understand the internal controls framework and help drive compliance
- Work closely with internal and external auditors to drive progress towards reporting deadlines
- Communicate with operations and other functional teams, including finance, tax, treasury, and legal on financial reporting matters
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and analysis as needed

Qualifications
The Experience You Will Bring (Minimum Requirements):
- BS/BA/MS degree in accounting or related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience (public accounting required – Big 4 experience preferred)
- CPA license required
- Good understanding of US GAAP and competency in preparing financial statement schedules and performing financial statement analysis
- Analytical with a desire to dive into large data sets to perform analysis
- Strong analytical skills with an interest in developing a skillset to make judgements
- Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively operate in a deadline driven environment
- Ability to develop skills in team members and build relationships with leaders and peers
- Understanding of internal controls framework
- Ability to listen to the needs of stakeholders, articulate issues in a clear and simplified manner, present findings
- Strong Excel skills and experience using data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. Alteryx, Power BI)
What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
- Big 4 accounting experience
- Experience with SEC reporting requirements
- Comfortable working with large datasets and creating impactful summaries

- Must reside in the metro Atlanta area.
