Our Learning and Development Specialist  will be a partner with the business to create solutions that develop and engage employees to drive business results.

Rollins, Inc., a global consumer and commercial service company. We provide the most accurate, comprehensive and efficient pest management services for both residential and commercial customers. 

The Opportunity:

The successful Instructional Designer II will be responsible for:

  • Facilitate high quality, hard skill solutions for Residential and Commercial Pest Control and Termite Control including:
    • Curriculum and learning materials
    • Transfer of training materials
    • Learning transfer strategies
  • Engage a virtual audience via distance learning
  • Serve as on-screen talent for Videos on Demand
  • Co-facilitate train-the-trainer classes, super-user classes, and/or end-user classes
  • Be a subject matter expert in the curriculum and tools taught
  • Coach and reinforce knowledge transfer post-training
  • Advise and support curriculum path, content and scheduling
  • Partner with training coordinator/LMS Administrator to ensure all course activities are completed:
    • Receive appropriate records, files and documentation
    • Design classroom setup for target audience
    • Specify materials and supplies for classes
  • Assist with designing and developing small scale training
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and assess performance gaps
  • Be an active member of the Learning and Development team
  • Act as a voice of the customer to the broader Rollins and Orkin Learning Teams
  • Engage with other Rollins/Orkin Learning teams to maximize training resources
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal customers and external organizations (associations, vendors, community, etc.)
  • Meet and exceed customer expectations in the services and solutions we provide
  • Respond to customer requests in a timely manner
  • Be self-managed and capable of completing required tasks
  • Complete projects on time and on budget
  • Increase personal credibility by staying current in learning and development, area of expertise (sales, service, and administration) and the business
  • Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time
