We are seeking a District Manager for a service organization that was founded in 1930.  This role is a people leader who will drive operations and sales teams to achieve superior results.

As a District Manager you will direct the sales, service and administrative functions of your branch location to provide quality service to customers and achieve branch performance objectives. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the operation and maintains profit and loss accountability. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Manages and directs sales activity to achieve assigned goals.
  • Manages and directs the effective performance of the service department to achieve assigned customer service goals.
  • Recruits, trains and works in the field with service staff to evaluate and improve customer service skills and ensure performance objectives are met.
  • Performs quality control audits to inspect and evaluate service in a proactive, quality assurance branch auditing role.
  • Manages and directs the effective performance of the administrative department in creating and maintaining accurate customer records, contracts, billing, receipts and customer service requests.
  • Develops procedures to minimize customer complaints and retain customers.
  • Follows up on customer complaints and communicates/negotiates with customers to reach a satisfactory resolution of the assessed problem. 
  • Reviews production costs and service quality and modifies production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operations.
  • Prepares annual budget, re-projections, and monthly projections.
  • Evaluates performance, makes salary recommendations, and administers disciplinary actions consistent with company policy.
  • Prepares regional and corporate reports and attends meetings as required.

The Successful ­­­­­­­­­­­­­ will:

  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of successful management experience
  • P&L and budgeting experience
  • The ability to set and then surpass aggressive sales, service, and profit goals
  • The ability to recruit, manage, coach and inspire your staff
  • Excellent communication, presentation and reporting skills
  • A focus on customer retention
  • The ability to thrive in a competitive, goal-driven environment
