Call Center Supervisor

Position Summary:

Responsible for supervising and coaching a team of 6-10 Customer Service Representatives in providing quality service for inbound and/or outbound telephone calls.  Creates and maintains company standards for Customer Service Representatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain employee staffing to ensure phone coverage for hours of operation
  • Ensures that all policies and procedures are adhered to and call standards are met
  • Monitors daily performance of Representatives and gives verbal feedback as needed to ensure maximum efficiency of the department
  • Conducts on-going training and coaching with employees to improve quality of service
  • Handles escalated calls from customers and field technicians
  • Conducts regular meetings to communicate new information or changes in processes
  • Tracks attendance and productivity of each employee
  • Assists other department managers in customer related concerns as needed
  • Reviews written performance appraisals at one year intervals with full time Customer Service Representatives          
  • Completes special projects as assigned by upper management

A Successful Candidate Will Exhibit:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
